Welcome to East Aurora Little Loop Football!
8/31/2011: This week
There is no game this Saturday, September 3rd due to the bye week for the Labor Day holiday. We did find a Pee Wee coach for cheer, thanks for all the inquiries. Please don't forget to purchase Tops gift cards at the concession stand. East Aurora Little Loop makes 5% on all cards, and you can purchase a $20 gift card for $20 . . .so you get ALL your money back through your Tops purchase.8/31/2011: This week
8/7/2011: Pee Wee Cheerleading coach needed
Unfortunately, we are without a Pee Wee cheerleading coach this season. Kayla is graciously coaching both JV and PeeWee for now, but she won't be able to handle both teams for long. If there is anyone out there, or anyone you know who would like to coach our Pee Wee girls this season, please contact me at dinab10199@yahoo.com. Thanks !4/26/2011: 2011 Registration

Hello;
It does not seem that long ago we completed the League playoffs, but then again the Little Loop sponsored “Wing T Camp” which unofficially kicks off our season, is a mere 5 months way. The Board of Directors has been working diligently to make sure 2011 is another outstanding year for East Aurora Youth football!
The Hunter J. Kelly Youth Football League has made some rule modifications to insure its status as the primer youth football league in Western New York. Those of you that might not know, HJK has proven to be the very best Youth Football league, not in the win/loss column, but as part of the leagues Mission Statement outlines:
“Each participant shall learn the fundamentals of the sport and be encouraged to build a sense of camaraderie among teammates and respect for opponents.”
In so many words, we teach football, cheerleading, sportsmanship, respect and positive life lessons to each and every one of our athletes.
Some of the rule changes include a new league age date of 9/1. The age the athlete is on that date, is the age group he/she will play/cheer with.
The most exciting football change is there will be “stripers”* in each age group. This will allow athletes that previously might not of had the ability to participate because of their size, to have the opportunity to get on the field, practice, learn the game and participate with players their own age.
I encourage all parents to take a look at not just East Aurora Little Loop Football and Cheerleading, but the Hunter J. Kelly League and you will find the very best, safest environment for you children to learn the game of football, and skills of cheerleading. I may be a little bias, but I consider football the ultimate team sport, that can teach your children sportsmanship, teamwork and be a positive influence to them and our community.
I look forward to seeing all the parents and athletes outside in the fresh are as soon as the snow melts.
Thanks,
Ken Horton President EALLF&C

9/9/2010: PIZZA & BILLS TICKET GIVEAWAY TONIGHT
9/8/2010: Sub and Pizza nights Tuesday and Thursday
The snack shack at Hamlin Park during football season is a great place to check out not only during games but also during practice.
Every Tuesday is sub night where you can get a great price on subs. Thursday night is Pizza night where you can order a Pizza when you drop your son or daughter before practice and have it ready piping hot when you go home.
9/6/2010: JV Blue Devils Go To 2-0
Coach Whalen has his team firing on all cylinders early this season as his JV Blue Devils are 2 - 0 after consecutive shutouts. This week they defeated Lancaster Black 32-0 after going up 26-0 in the first half.
Both the offense and defense played superbly in holding Lancaster to only 4 first downs.
The team will head to Orchard Park to face Orchard Park White in game 3.
9/2/2010: KEEP HAMLIN PARK CLEAN!!
As we were testing our new sound system this morning at Hamlin Park we noticed that there were several empty bottles all over the park, especially near the bleachers. Please do your part and pick up before you leave. The village has been nice enough to allow us to use the park for Little Loop and we want to continue that relationship by doing our part to keep the park clean.
